A Hankering for Spring Cocktail (Serves 2)

With all this cold winter weather I wanted to transport to a warmer place. Since that is not economically plausible for my husband and I, I thought why not make a cocktail that is fresh and fruity, reminding us of warmer days where the sun shines and the breeze is refreshing. This cocktail brings a little spring into your still cold winter days.

1 cup of ruby red grapefruit juice
3 oz. (2 shots) of Grey Goose or other good quality vodka
3 oz. (2 shots) of St. Germain elderflower liquor
1 lemon cut into four wedges
1/4 cup club soda

  1. Place the first three ingredients in a martini shaker with 1 cup of ice.
  2. Squeeze two lemon wedges into the shaker
  3. Shake vigorously and strain into two cocktail glasses or martini glasses if desired
  4. Top with club soda and a lemon wedge in each glass
