In the know: London calling

Me and the Mr. planned a very last minute trip to the UK, we visited Shannon, Ireland, London and Cheltenham. We camped out at the Ekardt's flat, roamed Crouch End, cooked, watched the World Cup, Wimbledon and relaxed. It was the perfect part touristy and local. I'll let the pictures speak!

On our long layover in Shannon, Ireland we strolled through Bunratty, an Irish folk village with a castle built in 1425.
We took one day and tried to cram in all the touristy stuff we could, which consisted of: London eye, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace.
Going to Wimbledon was definitely a highlight of our trip (a long time dream of the hubby's). We queued for 3 hours (well worth the wait) and purchased resale tickets to Center court and Court 1.
Getting to hang with this little lady and her momma was one of my favorite parts of our trip. Edith is so full of life, expressive and an all around joyful little 2 year old:) Whenever there's a camera around, she poses and then says "see it" in a proper British accent.

We attended a wedding in Cheltenham and my hubby was a groomsman in it! He got learn how to tie a bow tie:) We stayed in this beautiful Manor by the lake, we strolled the gardens, listened to jazz, drank champagne, met new friends and witnessed a beautiful couples love.
Thank you Jules and Kelly for your amazing hospitality! I enjoyed the much needed catch up time! Bonding with Edith, brainstorming on blog ideas, playing dress up, gardening, cooking and Party Planning made me reminisce about a time when we were once neighbors, hoping to be again someday soon!
